Manager of the 4th Quarter 2019
November 11, 2019
This manager is married and has one daughter. She and her family along with a number of dogs, cats, goats and a mule reside in Hartsville. She is devoted to her family and to her job. She lived on her at very early age and has worked many jobs to put herself through college. She has received her Associate Degree in Nursing her BSN and her MSN from Western Governor’s University. She loves to camp with her family. To look as this person you would never know that she can build a motor from the ground up, can tear down and put the motor back together again. She loves being a “grease monkey.”
She began her career at Carolina Pines as a Nurse Extern in the ER. She has worked as a PCS in ICU and as a Nursing Supervisor. She was later promoted to Director where she remains today.
This manager is honest, down to earth, super intelligent and an all-around genuine person. She is a good listener who takes advise and suggestions to heart to make a positive impact on the department she manages. She has worked diligently in obtaining office space for the team that helps the department keep united. This helps her to keep her staff advised of the ever changing world of nursing as it pertains to their area.
This manager places a lot of trust is her staff and expects them to get the job done. She truly loves this community and only wants the best, not only for her department but for the whole hospital. She approaches tasks with a smile on her face no matter how difficult or challenging the task that is set before her.
This manager is actively involved with the day to day operations of her department. She never hesitates to get on the floor when needed and help in any way that she can. She always puts in an effort to make sure the staff and patient’s needs are met.
This individual is an asset to Carolina Pines and we are proud to announce that the Manager for the 4th Quarter of 2019 is Stephanie Newsome of Case Management Services.
Stephanie is an excellent leader and is dedicated to her job and her team. She works well with everyone she comes in contact with and is very supportive. She wants to do what is best for the patients and the facility. She always gives 100% and is always available when you need her. Some of the improvements that she has made as Director of Case Management are the IDT meetings. These meeting are conducted in a manner to be informative and gives everyone the opportunity to participate.
Congratulations!
